'07 Nissan Xterra

The 2007 Nissan Xterra is a sport utility vehicle that is more than ready for any challenge that you can put to it.

It is the smaller of Nissan’s rugged SUV offerings, but just because it is smaller doesn’t mean that it’s not ready for some abuse. It has a 265 hp V6 engine and can be bought with either a six speed manual transmission or a five speed automatic.

The best thing about the Xterra is that it is truly set up to operate like an SUV should, rather than being a vehicle that is designed just to look big, this is a vehicle that drives big instead.

The Xterra, even though it is smaller than something like the Pathfinder, is still ready to handle any kind of off road terrain that you might want to drive it through. The 2007 Nissan Xterra is a great choice for anyone shopping for a new mid size SUV.

'06 Nissan Xterra

The 2006 Nissan Xterra is such a good vehicle because it truly performs at the level that one would expect a sport utility vehicle to perform at. The SUV has become an extremely popular vehicle in recent years, and many vehicles in that class are not adequately equipped to traverse rough and challenging terrain.

The Xterra, on the other hand, is more than ready to handle anything that you can throw at it. It is built with a fully boxed ladder frame made completely of steel, the same way that most American rugged pickups are built. That means that this is a vehicle ready to be put to work.

It also has the power the heavy frame through anything, as well as a transmission that has high and low four wheel drive gears to adapt to different kinds of terrain. The 2006 Nissan Xterra is more than ready to live up to any challenge you put it to.

'05 Nissan Xterra

The 2005 Nissan Xterra is a giant step forward for Nissan in terms of the usefulness and saleability of the Nissan Xterra. The Xterra in the previous incarnations suffered from not having enough power to push its massive frame that is based off of the same frame as the trucks in the Nissan line.

However, in 2005, the Xterra has remedied that problem by adding a lot more horsepower to the engine. Now, the Xterra is ready to provide as much power as necessary to traverse all of the different terrains for which it was designed. The vehicle now rides as tough as it looks.

It is rugged and squared off and has the look of a vehicle that is ready to ride though any sort of territory you would want to take it through. Luckily, now, the 2005 Nissan Xterra has the engine to back up the claim that the exterior makes.

ADVENTURE, REDESIGNED

When Nissan introduced the Xterra in 2001, it was the coolest thing on wheels -- an SUV built on a truck chassis, a can't-miss adventure mobile destined for mass popularity. Or was it? Trouble was, it rode like a pickup, mo matter what it looked like on the outside. And that didn't exactly thrill the automotive community.
The company corrected things with the 2005 Nissan Xterra. Suffice to say everything's been overhauled and better integrated; or better yet, see for yourself in photos, specs, reviews and pricing info. If afterwards you find the 2005 Nissan Xterra too much to resist, we've got finacing scoop too.

2007 Nissan Xterra

One of the first things that you will notice about the 2007 Nissan Xterra is its compact size. Indeed, the Xterra range of SUVs is comparatively more compact than the other SUVs on the automobile market today. The innovative design of the first Xterra has been improved over previous model years and, in the year 2007, it is modernized with the latest facilities available in automobile technology.

The fuel economy is about 22 mpg on urban roads and 17 mpg on highways. The 2007 Nissan Xterra has gained substantial praise for its great off-road performance, owed to its power-packed V6 engine.

One of the best things about the 2007 Nissan Xterra is the balance between style and substance. Indeed, there appears to be an equal investment in the design of the vehicle and its performance, thereby meeting (and often surpassing) consumer expectations with impeccable accuracy– a trait that is responsible for the remarkable success of the Xterra over the years.

2006 Nissan Xterra

The 2006 Nissan Xterra does not see many changes since 2005. However, new features are noticeable in this make, like the upscale off-road features that have been improved since the last model.

The 4.0-liter V6 engine is retained from the 2005 in the 2006 Nissan Xterra. As in the previous model, the engine generates a horsepower of 265 hp. An automatic five-speed transmission and a manual six-speed transmission are available in the 2006 model. The fuel economy shows 22 mpg for highways and 17 mpg for urban roads.

The 2006 Nissan Xterra is available in both four-wheel and rear-wheel drive modes. The antilock braking system is provided with a stability reinforcement system. Multiple side airbags ensure safety for drivers and passengers alike. The entertainment system complements the interior, while the excellent cargo hauling capacity complements the vehicle’s performance.

2005 Nissan Xterra

Recognized as one of the most innovative designs for SUVs or sport-utility vehicles, the 2005 Nissan Xterra exhibits incredible performance both on and off the road. The 2005 make sees a plethora of changes that make the vehicle more modern than the first version released in 2001.

The primary powertrain of the 2005 Nissan Xterra is a 4.0-liter V6 engine similar to the Pathfinder. The 265 horsepower generated by this engine is quite commendable. The different trim levels of the Xterra provide both four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive, while an exclusive Off-road version bears only the four-wheel drive mode.

The 2005 Nissan Xterra has a renovated exterior with larger fenders that are flared for a trendy look. The roof rack is updated with a lid that can be latched. The hood is also enlarged and the grille is updated for improved looks, making this SUV look almost as good as it performs.
